It's healthy, it's modern, it's socially conscious. This is definitely not your usual fast food fare. Zambrero is dedicated to nutritionally sound Mexican food bursting with flavour. They're slinging burritos and gluten-free bowls, hard and soft shell tacos, dos capas, quesadillas, chips, dips and nachos all with fresh ingredients, the option of handmade guacamole and six distinctive sauces. There's four choices of slow-cooked sous vide style meat if that's your dish, as well as gluten-free, dairy-free, vego and vegan options. The company has also announced it will be expanding, with a new Coogee location set to open on 30 Sep.

But it's not just the food that's appealing. Zambrero is dedicated to ending world hunger and through its Plate 4 Plate initiative, which provides a meal to someone in need for every burrito or bowl sold, the chain has delivered more than six million meals to kids globally since first opening its doors in 2005. Zambrero is also keeping its eye on its environmental impact, and make their packaging from recycled sugar cane pulp a 100% biocompostable material.
