Briefly describe the design/atmosphere of the bar? 
Barenz offers a casual city atmosphere in a country town. It has a buzzing nightlife, regular live entertainment, and serves top quality espresso daily. People can enjoy a selection of antipastos, tapas, pizzas and pastas for a fun, hands-on, dining experience. Flexible function packages are catered to each unique event, with various food, drink, location and styling options available. There are five distinctive areas to enjoy: the cocktail bar and lounge, the restaurant, the mezzanine, the courtyard and the outdoor beer garden. Enter from the main street of Camden or from the rear parking area.

Does the bar have a music component?
Free live music every Friday night, supporting a variety of talented local artists. Expect to experience a range of solo, duo and trio acts. Each month a special "Barenz Sundayz" DJ event is hosted in the Courtyard.

What drinks are you serving? Do you have a specialty?  
Barenz has a broad selection of Australian and NZ wines, and French bubbly. Bar stocks top shelf ingredients for mixing 'Signature' cocktails, and includes a selection of locally brewed beer at the taps. In 2014, Barenz bartender, Brendon Hill, was donned Australian Cocktail Champion by the Australian Bartenders Guild and competes in South Africa in September 2014 for international recognition.

Does the bar offer food? If so what style and what's your specialty?        
In the restaurant, think European, Italian and Mediterranean inspired cuisine, with Aussie spirit. Breakfast, lunch and dinner menus are available throughout the day and night.

Briefly describe the crowd that frequents your bar?       
Barenz is a warm and inviting atmosphere any time of the day or night. People can book a formal celebration or walk in for a casual meal and a drink. On Friday and Saturday nights, people tend to doll themselves up; you never know who you might bump into at Barenz!

Who's cooking and pouring and what makes them special?
All cafe and bar staff receive are formally trained in their respective areas, for barista work or bartending. Instead of having a traditional head chef, the kitchen manager monitors operations from the floor to ensure smooth service and quality from the kitchen team.

Anything out of the ordinary on the horizon?    
Renowned Executive Pastry Chef, Anna Polyviou, will create a degustation of sweet and savoury delights for a tasting audience of 80 people at Barenz, 3.30pm on Sunday 10 August. Anna’s style is outlandish and entertaining, as she works to the musical backing of her own live DJ. Tickets have already sold and raised $8000 for children's charity.
