Briefly describe the design/atmosphere of the bar?
Located in the heart of Sydney’s bustling CBD, Martin Place Bar is a contemporary space with an informal, open plan bistro and bar is ideal for those in search of a breakfast meeting destination, leisurely lunch, after work drinks, dinner or late-night snacks, and is suitable for tailored events, big or small.

Does the bar have a music component?
Kick back and enjoy contemporary lounge music on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday & MPB resident DJs on Thursday and Friday nights from 5pm. Saturday nights we host international DJs playing Sydney’s best Electro, House & R ‘n’ B music.

What drinks are you serving?
Cold beers or Cellar Aged Australian wine from our own privater cellar on offer. Current favourites include Penfold’s Reserve Bin 98A Chardonnay & Dalwhinnie ‘Moonambel’ Shiraz.

Does the bar offer food?
Martin Place Bar’s informal dining is ideal for small to large groups, or for those happy to linger over a long lunch or dinner. The kitchen team are passionate about using local produce. The seasonal menus offer everything from house-made, free-range Chicken Schnitzel, to Grilled Salmon, Salads, grass-fed Cape Grim Rib Sirloin, and a range of gluten-free and vegetarian options.

Briefly describe the crowd that frequents your bar?
Being in the heart of the business district the bar is attractive to city workers. Also, due to our proximity to Pitt St and famous Sydney landmarks and locations, tourists and local residents frequent our bar to relax whilst sightseeing and shopping.

Who’s cooking and pouring and what makes them special?
Martin Place Bar has a dedicated hospitality team. Our bar staff are always with a smile and friendly conversion with an emphasis on fast & thorough service. Our kitchen staff are equally as dedicated to serving the freshest and most delicious food possible and coming up with innovative daily specials to please everyone.
