Cracker Night

Lawrence Mooney hosted well, keeping the night flowing while dishing out his honest and crude comedy. Akmal, now out of the jungle, appears to have a stack of good new material. Dom Irrera, one eye on the clock, delivered the most bang for his five minutes with a barrage of chuckles.

Sarah Callaghan's accent alone could make us laugh, but she delivered a cracker five minutes, while we couldn't help but smile at Tanyalee Davis filling the room with laughter despite her size.

Trash Test Dummies' form of 'bin ballet' was uniquely entertaining and veteran Steve Hughes rounded out the night with local jokes about parking in Newtown.

A cracker of a night and a great way to introduce us to four weeks of laughs.
