Allegations of drug use have hit the popular website today.

Fans of popular Australian music website theMusic.com.au are in shock today as damning claims of the website using performance enhancing substances to reach optimum speeds come to light.

In an unprecedented move, the Australian Sports Anti-Doping Authority (ASADA) have been called to assist in the investigations after a rapid increase in speed on the website was noticed midweek. It is believed theMusic is the only website facing allegations at this point in time.

Speaking exclusively with SPA Confidential this afternoon, an unnamed representative from theMusic denied any knowledge of wrongdoing on their behalf.

“Look, the site's fuckin' fast because we paid some geniuses to root around on their computers and whatever they did back there we just assumed was within the rules,” the representative said.

“There's been talk of some prick called Dank hanging around here, but I'm pretty sure they're getting him mixed up with the general state of our workplace.”

Uproar from the site's major competition is believed to be the impetus for the investigation, one site in particular going so far as to issue a statement on the investigation.

“We used to have to go and put the kettle on or go for a stroll when we wanted to head over to see what they were reporting, but now they're even quicker than us,” publishers of a competing site said in a statement today. “You can't have such a marked improvement without something dodgy going on.

When asked why a sporting regulation body are involving themselves in the world of online music journalism, ASADA representatives declined to comment.
