Fringe: Angry Sexx

30 September 2014 | 11:53 am | Brendan Hitchens

Following the inner thoughts and interactions between best friends Catherine (Rachel Perks) and Cybelle (Artemis Ioannides), whilst being monitored by three monkeys from the future, ANGRY SEXX is confrontational, but necessary.

Breaking down the gender politics that fill contemporary society, the show is bold and dark, and poignantly blurs the line between truth and science fiction to make a lasting statement. While the late timeslot and pornographic imagery may not be for everyone, the creative combination of dance, multimedia, pop culture, comedy and plenty of drama, make the performance one of the Fringe Festival’s hallmark shows: a proud display of independent art.
