Slayer Announce One Soundwave Side Show

The band are making up for unfortunate past circumstances.

More Slayer More Slayer

One of thrash metal's all time great bands, Slayer, are one of the many, many enormous acts who have made Soundwave 2013 sell out in such a ridiculously short amount of time and now they are treating one single city on the tour to a chance to see them play in somewhat more intimate environs.

Sydney Slayer fans were left wanting the last time the band were in the country, as frontman Tom Araya became ill and was forced to cancel their performance at Soundwave 2011. The band are making amends with their Sydney fan base though and have announced their one single sideshow for the Soundwave tour to take place in that city.

It happens at the Big Top, Luna Park on Monday 25 February and tickets are on sale from OzTix, Ticketek and the venue's website from 9am Wednesday 19 December.

Here's Raining Blood, just because.
