Underground rappers Flatbush Zombies have opened up in an interview about their love for altered states of minds and the various ways in that it comes out in their music.

Discussing the idea that LSD is only beginning to find its way into the hip-hop world, member Meech explains that it actually has a long heritage in the genre.

“Eminem has rapped about it before. Xzibit did a track about acid. There's always been acid around, it comes and goes. Sometimes there's an abundance of it… I've always been told, you don't go looking for acid, the acid finds you, so that's how I've looked at it my whole life.”

However, producer Erick Arc Elliott admits that he's never taken LSD himself, but still finds every moment to be a psychedelic experience.
