Fringe: Advertising Death

25 September 2014 | 1:56 pm | Harry Hughes

George Glass have come up with a wildly unpredictable musical comedy with hysterical show tunes and vulgar characters who make you squirm. Edward and Henry Frissel are trying to keep their struggling funeral home afloat. The best way to keep in business is to help clients along towards death and to convince grieving widows to get their most expensive funeral package. In their Fringe debut, all four players act, dance, sing and play instruments with gusto in this absurdist dark comedy that’ll have you just about dying with laughter.

Mechanics Institute, Melbourne Fringe Festival, to 27 Sep
