US rockers arrive with new album's worth of songs in tow

More Foster The People More Foster The People

The theatres Palais and Enmore will play home to indie pop darlings Foster The People when they head to Sydney and Melbourne this July for a pair of sideshows - proudly presented by theMusic - to complement their upcoming appearance at this year's Splendour In The Grass festival.

The Pumped Up Kicks artists have followed up their breakout years in 2010-11 with Supermodel, their just-released sophomore full-length, from which one imagines they will draw rather heavily for their 2014 setlist.

With three singles from the album already doing the rounds - Coming Of Age, Pseudologia Fantastica and Best Friend - it's clear the trio are going to great lengths to avoid being seen as resting on their laurels following their early success, so these upcoming shows on July 28 (Melbourne) and 29 (Sydney) should prove a most enlightening experience for fans new and old alike.
