Wonderland Carnivale is Wonderland Spiegeltent's premier MICF event, with two changing stand-up acts and some incidental acrobatics. The nights are hosted by Miss Behave, a vinyl-clad MC who warms everyone up and gets the show underway. Mickey D and Lehmo are tonight's acts. Mickey D is funny. He is genuinely disarming and presents a very tour-honed performance, a cracking mix of cheap shots and anecdotes. Lehmo was weird. His set was an incoherent mix of vapid social commentary, self-aggrandisement and jokes at the expense of New Zealanders. Pretty dull.
