For the past year or so, Chris Emerson has been finding his feet and his sound as What So Not, and has hit the mark more often than not.

His latest effort, Divide & Conquer, is a pure reflection of his musical drive and his own personal groove. The EP is a goal shooter, and it makes the basket. Tracks like Divide & Conquer and Lone (ft. JOY) are certified bangers, while the creative risks taken on tracks like Adieu are cool but questionable at first listen.

What So Not's enthusiasm for exploring his boundaries is inspiring, and it'll be a pleasure to watch him keep kicking on.
