Live Review: Tkay Maidza doesn't miss with new single 'Shook'

Fast approach living legend status, TKAY MAIDZA is back with another incendiary new single this week. Titled 'Shook', this is the first we've heard from her since last year's 'IDC IF U B DED' and 'Awake', both of which saw Maidza position herself as a global force to be reckoned with, and now she's set to do it all again with this latest release.

Making it sound positively easy, Tkay doesn't miss with 'Shook'. She rides the unpredictable beat throughout, never missing a beat as she sets the track ablaze. Proving with a one-two punch why she has remained at the forefront of hip hop in Australia since her first entry into the scene at just 17, the hook of this song doesn't lie: she really does have us shook with this latest release. We first heard hints of this new era way back when she unleashed 'Flexin'', and since then every move Tkay has made has been considered and thoughtful, and now it seems she's ready to really let us see what she's been working on lately.

Released alongside visuals directed by Jenna Marsh (Beyonce, Dua Lipa, Nicki Minaj), Tkay Maidza is ushering in a new era with 'Shook' and one we are extremely here for. Hinting that there's plenty of gas left in the tank for her this year, we cannot wait to see what she does next.
