The hotly-anticipated second video to accompany the mixtapes of Canadian artist Abel Tesfaye (better known as R&B’s elusive new whiz-kid, aka. THE WEEKND) has finally been released.
This time, it’s a track from his ‘Thursday’ project.

“The 'Rolling Stone' video takes place in a dimly lit studio which represents the two worlds I have been stuck in. The gloomy side represents the mainstream world while the other side represents the underground. The girl holding on represents you.”
Tesfaye goes on to explain why he has never given an interview and the secrecy surrounding his work. This candid view of the man behind the mix-tapes comes to the fore in his upcoming release, Trilogy: the culmination of last year’s three releases, which will feature three new songs.
‘Trilogy’ will be released on November 13th by Universal Republic.
