The young Australian talent has been honing her writing and producing skills as of late in LA after making an appearance at Vivid Sydney's one-day music festival, Curve Ball. With a big year a head of herself, JOY. began the year with a performance at Field Day as well as making it onto the Australian Spotify Spotlight for 2016 list. The powerhouse is ready to set on tour of Listen Out festival beginning in September.
Co-produced with Take A Daytrip, JOY.'s latest track encapsulates the powerful nature of her vocals with lyrics of sorrow and empowerment. Once again, her harmonies are nothing but impressive and the track is all about endless beats. The video itself, directed by Joel Burrows aka Spookyland and produced by Entropico, uses connotations of light and darkness to capture the isolated feel of the track. Watch it here:
