Live Review: WATCH: Django Django 'WOR' (Official Video)

The new clip from the DJANGO DJANGO single ‘WOR’ is interestingly focused on the Indian Well of Death riders in Allahabad.

Remember that scene in the Simpsons movie where Homer goes in the Globe Of Death (the large round cage) and rides a motorbike the whole way round?

Imagine doing that same thing, but instead of being in a steel cage, with your helmet and all your protective gear, you’re in an open stage built with planks of wood that could snap at any moment, and the only protective gear you had was an old helmet.

Yeah, the new clip for DJANGO DJANGO’s track ‘WOR’ is interestingly focused on the Indian Well of Death riders in Allahabad. The Mercury prize nominees asked Noisey to go out and record the riders for their ‘WOR’ clip, and the documentary-like video has come out surprisingly well.

The riders seem to have no fear, they tell the camera crew that they’re not worried if they die, they trust in God’s will and that seems to keep them going. They know death in inevitable and this may be one of the reasons why DJANGO DJANGO are so infatuated with the riders.

Check the video out for yourselves, there are some lovely shots and the riders just mesmerize you.
