CHORD MEMORY BAND have shared a new live video for their house classic 'Marco'.
Switching it up from the EP version, the live take opens with smooth, flowing chords before slipping into the irresistible house groove that is 'Marco'. Chord Memory Band's approach to music is as authentic as it comes. Analogue synths, original drum machines and classic vocal samples all work to achieve a sound that really cannot be recreated. It's house music as it should be- feel good, dancey and genuine.
Quality production from these guys comes at no surprise really. The project is a collaboration between veterans of the scene Michael Medlycott of the Vulture Street Tape Gang and Dom Bird of Mitzi. Bird is also a co-founder of quality dance music radio show turned record label, Beats of No Nation. 'Marco' as a part of the Third Eye EP marked the labels second release.

The Chord Memory Band project was apparently inspired by a trip to a mystic cave deep in the Australian outback found filled with nocturnal animals, flora and a stash of vintage synthesisers and drums machines. After emerging from the cave months later with no memory of what happened, the Third Eye EP was born. Well, that's according to their Bandcamp anyway.
