"Hopefully this treasure won't remain hidden for much longer."

Wow, what an absolute hidden gem. This Melbourne trio slam out raw, vital, blues-based alternative rock that is certain to put a big goofy smile on your dial.

The songs on their debut LP are so much fun. Diamond Days is a catchy belter, with its jagged riff and ultra-catchy and exuberant chorus. Leech is a ballsy, hell-for-leather rocker with another cracker of a chorus, and sweet dynamics are provided by Full Moon House On The Waterside, which puts one in mind of Nirvana's Polly at times.

But everything fits together beautifully on Spires. Hopefully this treasure won't remain hidden for much longer.
