"The Cranberries breathe new life into their timeless classics."
Joined by a string quartet from the Irish Chamber Orchestra, The Cranberries revive some of their biggest songs on their new acoustic album, Something Else.
Enriched by the new, warm and vibrant string arrangements, unplugged renditions of some of The Cranberries' '90s hits including Zombie, Linger and Ode To My Family put focus on Dolores O'Riordan's unmistakable vocals, and highlight the band's expertise in songwriting. They also manage to seamlessly integrate three fairly dark and personal new tracks, The Glory, Rupture and Why, with their older songs on the album.
