Album Review: Strung Out - Transmission.Alpha.Delta

StarStarStarStarHalf Star

"Elements of punk rock from across the past three decades are all blatantly evident on Transmission.Alpha.Delta"

More Strung Out Strung Out Profile

Some punk bands lose their edge over time as members age and the physical demands of the genre take over.

Not Californian stalwarts Strung Out. On their ninth studio album, the pace, attitude and hard-edged sound the’ve embodied since their inception in 1989 is as intense as ever. Elements of punk rock from across the past three decades are all blatantly evident on Transmission.Alpha.Delta, making it required listening to anyone who’s gotten sweaty in a mosh pit at any time since the late ‘80s. It represents some of their best work; both nostalgic and violently current.
