Mock-ballad, You’re Beautiful When You Don’t Talk proves a biting parody.
These preening, pouting Los Angeles lads have carved one lucrative, spandex-sporting niche. As much of a following as their filthy glam spoof has, ultimately once the ozone-destroying hairspray cloud has finally cleared, the tunes still require some semblance of shelf life. LP number four isn't as consistently hilarious and its songwriting is marginally less inspired. Pussywhipped's hard-rocking edge and Whitesnake-channelling Bukkake Tears are familiarly humorous territory. They're occasionally reaching for jokes here, but Gangbang At The Old Folks Home will raise guffaws. Mock-ballad, You're Beautiful When You Don't Talk proves a biting parody.
