Their new record is a hydra-headed creature that throws out the stadium stomp of Rob Zombie, lashings of Mötley Crüe in the lead breaks and even a little bit of that Gothenburg melodic death metal sound.

Since Steel Panther came along and made glam seem like dumb fun, there's been a wave of bands embracing all the sleaze of the '80s. Where Sweden's Sister's first record – 2011's Hated – saw them jump on that bandwagon, on Disguised Vultures the four-piece are growing beyond their derivative beginnings. Their new record is a hydra-headed creature that throws out the stadium stomp of Rob Zombie, lashings of Mötley Crüe in the lead breaks and even a little bit of that Gothenburg melodic death metal sound; all of which functions to make Disguised Vultures a marked improvement on Hated.
