Her shows on that comeback tour in 2014 were ecstatic, life-affirming experiences and crammed with many of the classic soul selections here. Her music may be unashamedly retro, but cuts such as Stranger To My Happiness and 100 Days, 100 Nights sound just as vital today as ever.
