Album Review: Placebo - A Place For Us To Dream

StarStarStarStar

"May your cake be glistening and questionable."

More Placebo Placebo Profile

It would be glorious to imagine Brian Molko and Stefan Olsdal celebrating two decades of Placebo in the filthiest of manners - a reputation earned by Molko's claim in 1998 of a tour which "left a trail of spunk and blood across Britain".

But amongst all the grunting biofluids that drip from Nancy Boy and Pure Morning, there's plenty of gut-punching hymns for the alienated. But where is the new cover of Talk Talk's Life's What You Make It or the rather relevant Twenty Years? Happy birthday, Placebo. May your cake be glistening and questionable.
