"Murray's new direction is great with rockier tracks."
After a six-year gap between records, Pete Murray is back with his charismatic charm and soothing vocals that sparkle in Camacho, leaving behind the chilled acoustic sounds fans once loved.
The acoustic guitar is still there, especially in ballad Give Me Your Love where violins and trumpets ring in during the chorus, warming hearts. Thought I Was gives off a blues and roots sound with its edgy guitars, while Take Me Down gets you daydreaming. Murray's new direction is great with rockier tracks, however, the album's deep lyrics, moody vibes and similar sounding tracks make it a little boring.
