"If you’re looking for something a little off-kilter, then Paul Foot’s the man for you."

More Paul Foot More Paul Foot

Paul Foot's show Words is surreal mix of observational humour and awkward “disturbances”. He manages to artfully combine jokes about Neighbourhood Watch meetings, theories about the origins of homosexuality and the connection between drinking beer and (faux) masculinity. All while gesticulating wildly across the stage. He veers between descriptions of homophobic Tony Abbott supporters, who want to “stand up against gout”, and inexplicably amusing phrases like “solace from a grief sausage”. Foot's show takes you on a hilarious journey from the utterly bizarre to the insanely believable. If you're looking for something a little off-kilter, then Paul Foot's the man for you.
