"Jamie Timony aka Mossy has harnessed his creative energy into quite a dazzling debut EP."

Not content with a successful acting career alongside the likes of Geoffrey Rush and Willem Dafoe, New York-via-Sydney artist Jamie Timony aka Mossy has harnessed his creative energy into quite a dazzling debut EP.

Roping in engineer Stuart White (Beyonce and Jay-Z) elevates this release beyond the usual electro faire. Electric Chair was the first track to get a spin on the airwaves and it's a natural choice; Timony's nasal, high hitting drawl offset by psychedelic synth swirls and some bluesy guitar bends are pleasing to the senses. Shipping Yard offers straight-laced pop-rock, but Waterfall and Ginsberg bust out more of those floaty, reverb-filled lines and piercing vocals.
