"The album has major Paul Dempsey vibes with Cooper's roughed vocals and chilled out filling."

Indie-rock, with a hit of blues and roots, gives Mickey Cooper's album a refreshing sound as heartfelt lyrics fill the air.

John Curtin Hotel Freakout and Hangin' On The Worry Tree are beautiful with their stripped-back raw feel, with acoustic guitars and heart-on-sleeve lyrics that cut through the nonsense. The album has major Paul Dempsey vibes with Cooper's roughed vocals and chilled out filling. However, with most of the album being very bare, after a while it feels a bit boring and sad, with no upbeat moments to keep the listener drawn in.
