Album Review: Martin Solveig & Laidback Luke - Blow (New Remixes)

However Blow shouldn’t make a lasting impression, as the duo merely deliver a pale impression of LMFAO, without their pop smarts.

Could we be more over-saturated with stale EDM tracks such as this? Blow is a hyped, robotic single that's more jarring than danceable (though cringeably, fist-pumps would suit it fine). This EP contains three remixes of the song, with only the mildest of varying screeching beeps to distinguish each one. A frantically annoying sensory experience, the tracks might appeal to wasted club-goers and bored YouTube addicts. However Blow shouldn't make a lasting impression, as the duo merely deliver a pale impression of LMFAO, without their pop smarts.
