Album Review: Maples - Two Worlds

StarStarStarStar

"If easy listening is your thing Maples has hit the nail on the head."

If easy listening is your thing Maples has hit the nail on the head with her new album Two Worlds.

A fusion of modern folk and '80s electronica leaves a pretty big hole for creativity and originality, which has definitely been accomplished on this album. From atmospheric pads to poppy synthesiser bass lines, each song within Two Worlds has a different vibe to it, but stays within the confines of ambient electronica.

The balance of '80s elements and modern folk is spot on, with each song complementing the next. All in all a very well produced album that will be a hit within the alternative community.
