With captivating riffs and vocals over the a spiritual synth and the upbeat clattering percussion has listeners excited for new Island EP, and I can't blame them!

Welsh tag-team ISLAND had their introduction to their distinctive dance sound through the pneumatic grime, and jagged club hybrids they became accustomed to.

After the incredible support of acts such as Mssigno, Evian Christ and Eclair Fifi, ISLAND are to follow up with their 6 track EP Nokia, to be released on April 6th. Their track "Vola" has been released as the first clattering taste to the new EP.

Opening the track with a real rainforest vibe; birds whistling, natural acoustics, running water, the track soon comes into its own with the looping and morphing of really captivating riffs and vocals over both the a very spiritual synth and the upbeat clattering percussion.

"Vola" is one of those songs that seems to take over, putting listeners into a sort of trance. It's the perfect teaser for the upcoming EP, with fans in hysterics over what else this incredible duo has in store. If you're as excited as I am for the new EP, you can keep up to date via The Boiler Room's SoundCloud where 'Vola' was released.
