There's energy aplenty in HEMI's new single. In case you're not acquainted with the Istanbul based producer, strap in because he's back with a groovy new number out on his label High Above The Ground and guess what? We're premiering it today!
The EP's titled C'est la Vie and it features the title track and a remix of said track from Nachtbraker too.
'C'est la Vie' is a house jam absolutely laden with groovy tones and funky fills, one you'll definitely be hearing around dancefloors this summer season. It's six minutes of lush instrumentation, dotted with funky brass samples and a warped bassline that brings this one straight back into 2018.
It's a big one from Hemi, with so many sounds packed into one, but it doesn't sound all that crowded. The track packs a punch and knows just when to ramp it up, and exactly when to pull it back.
The remix to accompany this one from Nachtbraker takes on a slower, lush approach to the sounds used by Hemi, but still captures the essence of the funk embodied in the original.
Hemi's C'est la Vie EP is officially out today via High Above The Ground.
