Live Review: Falqo's 'Someday' is a diamond on the dancefloor

If the (rather late) cool changes announcing the imminent arrival of winter have you down then boy have we got the track for you. FALQO's 'Someday' feat WILD AND FREE is a summer track if ever we've heard one that'll have you wistfully searching for cheap tickets to Bali online.

The love child of a collaboration between Falqo and Wild and Free, 'Someday' has something of a backstory behind it. As lyrics such as 'someday he's going to leave you in the dust, mark my words' would suggest, it's about an ex-girlfriend. Specifically a meeting between Falqo and an ex-girlfriend fraught with ill-thought out remarks and residual bitterness.

Despite it's grounding in heartbreak, 'Someday' is a feel good song with disco-inspired beats that'll have you grooving along a second in. Pair that alongside Wild and Free loaning their smooth vocals and undeniably funky guitar to the equation and you've got yourself a killer tune.
