Live Review: LISTEN: Duke Dumont 'I Got U' ft. Jax Jones (Tensnake Remix)

Funnily enough, it wasn't too long ago that DUKE DUMONT released his own remix of TENSNAKE's original 'Love Sublime' which featured FIORA and NILE RODGERS. These two seem to have a good remixing friendship going on and it's holding strong with new offering.

'I Got U' is quite summery and bright with floating marimbas surrounding the track's brilliant vocal, but this new remix turns it on it's head and runs in a completely different direction.

TENSNAKE has transformed 'I Got U' by chopping up the vocals that JAX JONES laid down and adding in some heavy bass drops and beaming synths that are more late night party than summertime sun. This remix is definitely club worthy with wonderful heavy house influence shining through.

It's still 'I Got U', it's just had a bit of a makeover.

Both TENSNAKE and DUKE DUMONT are working on their debut albums at the moment, stay tuned for updates.
