18 year old Atlanta native, Adam Alexander AKA Demo Taped is making waves with his innovative style of RnB and Electronica

It’s not everyday that an 18 year old releases such an emotionally stirring single such as 'Stay', but Adam Alexander AKA DEMO TAPED is certainly no ordinary teenager.

The young Atlanta native is quickly emerging as one of the breakthrough artists of '16. Demo Taped effortlessly nails the production of 'Stay,' an artistic combination of contemporary electronica and RnB. Soulful and sensuous upon first listen, the true complexities of 'Stay' only truly manifest after a few plays. Demo Taped incorporates experimental electronic flourishes that are reminiscent of childhood games, and give the tune an upbeat feel. In contrast AMBER MARK's buttery vocal washes against the dark, warped baseline giving 'Stay' a strong melancholy vibe. 'Stay' is a coming of age song that deals with the coming to terms with moving on.

"'Stay' is about loss. It is trying to cope and move on, but also a plea for things to stay the same," said the artist himself. What he's created is an emotionally charged tune that’s highly reminiscent of the early works of JAMES BLAKE. Unconventional and inspiring are words that spring to mind when talking about this budding producer. It’s incredibly hard for sounds to cut through when you’re developing your style, but it seems as though Demo Taped is well on his way with ‘Stay.’
