Live Review: LISTEN: Chromeo 'Come Alive' ft. Toro Y Moi (The Magician Remix)

In the blizzard-like lead up to the Montreal/NY-based funksters upcoming album, a bunch of remixes have been trickling out over the past few weeks, and it seems they've held one of the best till later - none other than THE MAGICIAN has arrived on remix duties. Get ready.

Another week, another totally rad piece of CHROMEO mythos. The Belgian magic-man himself, THE MAGICIAN has worked his disco-infused powers of house music into the latest remix for 'Come Alive' ft. TORO Y MOI.

Continuing his current winning streak of golden remixes, he has re-worked the groovy CHROMEO tune into a hip-shaking slice of chic-house filled to the brim with silken organ synths and crispy handclaps.

With the release of their upcoming album 'White Women' imminent, via everyone's favourite FOOL'S GOLD records, the CHROMEO boys sure do know how to stir up the internet hype-engine (see: THE MAGICIAN remix).

CHROMEO's 'White Women' being released via FOOL'S GOLD records has yet to receive a public release date, so until then at least we have the tasty remixes to keep us warm at night.
