BROODS have released their powerful new track 'Mother & Father' on the back of the debut of their self titled EP. This tune will steal your heart with the stunning percussion and sentimental lyrics.

The pounding drums create a tone of monotony that creates an apathetic and regal air. Lead vocalist and New Zealand native, Georgia Nott breathes out the vocals of the track with such and effortless cool that it is hard not to become mesmerised by the dreamy nature of her vocal tones.

Brother to Georgia and all round gun at musical instruments, Caleb Nott makes sure 'Mother & Father' is a robust ode to the synth.

There is a solid backbone to this track and shows how BROODS have the goods to capture your soul with only two members in the band. Their romantic and whimsical lyrics are juxtaposed against a masculine and earthy musical component to the song, making for a beautiful marriage of both vocal and instrumental elements.

'Mother & Father' is a stunning track to lose yourself with. Go running in some fields as you replay this song over and over, wishing that you had either made it up yourself or that you wish that the song could turn into a human so you could date it. This is truly the song to tug on those heart strings and send your mind careening into the warm sunset.
