BRAILLE FACE has released yet another fragile, electronic track with his latest, 'Backwards/Medicated'.
Under the alias of Braille Face, the Melbourne artist also known as Jordan White has become the first artist to be signed to the relatively new record label, Spirit Level who are devoted to developing and promoting creative voices. The release of his first track 'Glow', not long ago, Braille Face received enormous support from the likes of Spotify, triple j, Indie Shuffle and Rolling Stone to name a few.
'Backwards/Medicated' relies on intricate drum patterns and soaring synths to compliment the vulnerable nature of Jordans' vocals. Fundamentally, it is the sentimental nature of his lyrics and the emotive tone around it which makes this piece so magnificent. Did I forget to mention that the track was both written, performed AND produced by Jordan, whilst mixed by Tim Shiel and mastered by Simon Lam. So I think it's best to say that we'll definitely be hearing more from this one!
