"Well-meaning but well-worn."

In these troubled times, when all artists famous or otherwise feel the need to comment on current issues, you don’t get points for simply caring — it’s what you say and how you say it.

So while you find yourself agreeing with Melburnian rapper Kudos on his latest six-track EP, you wish his conscious raps had been a bit more explicit. “You only live once”, “Your live is a choice that you make, etc, are well-meaning but well-worn. The positives? He flows over varied beats naturally and doesn’t trip over himself on the fast ones.
