Album Review: Krokodil - Nachash

"A well-defined heavy metal record."

More Krokodil More Krokodil

It should be obligatory for respected musicians to start a second band comprised of buddies from other respected bands, thusly cultivating a glorious Darwinian musical ecosystem.

The potential positive effects are highlighted by Krokodil’s debut, Nachash. Featuring members of Gallows, SikTh and Slipknot the result is a well-defined heavy metal record that not only stands on its own feet conceptually, but flaunts the staunch musical capabilities of the gentlemen who constitute its whole. Nachash is consistently fierce, boasting a phenomenal vocal performance from Simon Wright, while the characteristic crunch guitar tone defines the band.
