Despite his relatively short set of an hour, Jefferies managed to fit in enough laughs to satisfy the rowdy audience and left the stage to a huge round of applause.
Jim Jefferies
Despite his growing international popularity, Australian comedian Jim Jefferies has never become a household name in Australia.
His first solo show ever in WA, a sold out performance at the Astor Theatre, confirmed what the rest of the world already knew about this immensely talented and always controversial comedian.
Jefferies seems to attract an audience very much like himself. The theatre was packed out with riled up punters fresh from the bar down the road when Jefferies strode onstage to the tune of Muse's 'Hysteria'.
While there were no hecklers for the most part, as soon as one idiot up in the balcony decided to yell out, Jefferies destroyed him like he'd been waiting to do it all night.
