"Times Of Pride And Peril offers an intoxicating mix of melody, razor-sharp riffs and double bass kicks, and surprisingly the odd hint of stoner groove."

LA's Holy Grail started off life as standard bearers for the NWOBHM revival movement (indeed many of the band's members did time in White Wizzard) but has subsequently developed their sound beyond mere hero worship.

Times Of Pride And Peril offers an intoxicating mix of melody, razor-sharp riffs and double bass kicks, and surprisingly the odd hint of stoner groove. Despite song titles like Crystal King, Times avoids the frilly shirted histrionics favoured by many European bands and instead delivers a gritty street level vibe that Di'Anno-era Maiden would have been proud of.
