Album Review: Harry Howard & The NDE - Pretty

As Let Them Live drily ponders ‘You and I could save the world…’, but the question seems, ‘if it’s really worth it’.

The title and colour-drenched cover are pretty much ironic, as Harry Howard observes his monochrome surrounds just as sardonically – if not quite as jaggedly – as his late brother and often bandmate, the redoubtable Rowland S., did. Edwina Preston's oft-present rolling organ lines add to the Luna Park after closing feeling, as he looks for a late-night café to discuss the human condition – and the weaknesses thereof. Here be monsters, possibly found internally. As Let Them Live drily ponders 'You and I could save the world…', but the question seems, 'if it's really worth it'.
