Live Review: Let Palais transport you back to the beach with his summery guest mix

PALAIS has become a very important part of Australia's thriving electronic music scene. He has a stunning ability to make bright colours splash out of everything he touches, immersing the listener in an entire landscape that doesn't just excite sonically, but enthrals visually as well.

His latest offering, 'Chimera', is a beautiful example of this. Flecked with vivid hues of yellow and blue, it's an indisputable summer bop that really takes you to that poolside, beer in hand, that we'll all be longing for as we enter into these cooler months. His ability to transport the listener is a craft few have mastered, but Palais does so with ease.
