This week we're lucky enough to have the ’fingers in many pies’ / Kitsune family member, JERRY BOUTHIER on our FBi Click show for a Guest Mix.
The Paris via London DJ/producer, JERRY BOUTHIER, is the very definition of ‘fingers in many pies’ within the music industry. With ties to Kitsuné, Vivienne Westwood, his JBAG productions/remixes and A&R duties at Continental Records he has become a regular fixture in the worlds of music and fashion. This week we're lucky enough to have him on our FBi Click show for a Guest Mix.
He is also the definition of 'legend of the scene', with his roots coming from the pioneering Parisian house/balearic scene – he was a fixture of some of the UK’s biggest 90s clubs. From these experiences on the club floor he was welcomed into the Franco-Japanese label, Kitsuné as a dj ambassador and stalwart. Jerry’s long been crafting the Kitsuné MiniMixes, and has released five mixed cds to date on the Parisian imprint.
Bouthier is also the A&R and driving force behind, Continental Records. A label we have gotten behind previously, with a colourful, pop-tinted body of releases where dancefloor principles combine with pop sensibilities, an electro DJ's delight - just like Jerry himself.
There is almost an expectation that Bouthier is always morphing, blending multitude variations of house, disco, indie-dance and revamped nuggets into his energetic yet seamless, inspiring mixes. And that's exactly what we get in this guest mix. Get into the hour of bliss below:
