Album Review: Glass Ocean - II

A short taste and an emotive ride Glass Ocean’s EP II leads you through a river of thick melodic hooks and itty bitty guitar leads with a sound that’s catchy and welcoming.

It’s almost a collection of soft and soulful prog rock campfire songs, never going so far as to alienate mainstream listeners but also failing to push those technical boundaries that will turn the heads of purists, especially when you glimpse what could be in the more involved prowess of closing track What Plato Said. This is an EP for fans of ambient jazz and Incubus.
