The overall production is quite raw, similar to his first album, and it works this way.

Ermine Coat's sophomore album Parking Lots was released into the wild recently, and if track names Telethon Dropout Anthem and Eternal McDonalds aren't enough to entice a listen, do it anyway. For hardcore lo-fi fans, this album plods along seductively and smoothly. This reviewer uses the term 'plod' positively as at no point do you wish the bantering melodies move faster or slower. The album reminds one of a Tom Collins: enough ingredients to satisfy but not an overload cluttering the senses. The overall production is quite raw, similar to his first album, and it works this way.
