"A fascinating and ever absorbing must-have."

More Emmylou Harris More Emmylou Harris

The groundbreaking 1995 album, Wrecking Ball from the inimitable Emmylou Harris gets the remastered treatment with a stack of special inclusions, such as unreleased 'blooper' tracks and a DVD documenting the album's making. This release marked Harris' change of direction towards rock, one highly lauded and which attracted musical greats Neil Young, Bob Dylan, Willie Nelson and Steve Earle – and for good reason. The title track with Young remains one of Harris' most powerfully moving contributions, and it's always amazing to hear her meditative treatment of Hendrix's May This Be Love. A fascinating and ever absorbing must-have.
