"There's no doubt that Lipa is the latest pop 'It' girl destined for greatness."

More Dua Lipa More Dua Lipa

Two Can DJs get the party started with some funky feel-good grooves and infectious energy. They do a superb job at building up momentum throughout their set, reaching a level that ensures the crowd hits a continuous dance peak and remaining there.

Hitting the stage in a shiny outfit, Dua Lipa brings plenty of sass and charisma to her performance. The English pop star puckers up for her introduction and blows kisses to us during an upbeat danceable opener. It's clear that Lipa is destined for a much bigger stage, but tonight she dominates this intimate live venue.

Having only released a couple of tracks so far, her set mainly comprises material we're hearing for the first time. But there's no doubt that every one of her songs could be another instant chart-topping hit. Lipa shows off her smoky vocal tones on the enticing track New Love, marking her undeniably hypnotising stage presence. She continues to work the room with her seductive dance moves before trying to catch her breath for a Jamie xx rework of I Know There's Gonna Be (Good Times). Lipa gets so carried away in a dancing moment of hair flipping that she tangles herself up and accidentally unplugs her microphone. We easily forgive her as soon as she plugs back in and blows us away with her incredible sweet, husky vocal.

Every aspect of her performance is on point and Lipa gives 110% despite an unfortunate crackling noise that can be heard through the sound system. While these technical difficulties are addressed, she carries on with an a cappella version of Sam Smith's I'm Not The Only One. Lipa's smooth and soulful vocals are flawless; we'd be happy for her to sing a cappella for the rest of the show.

The crowd finally becomes more responsive for Lipa's final two songs (the hits): Be The One and Hotter Than Hell. It gets appropriately hot and sweaty as everyone in the room raises their hands above their heads and claps along to the beat. There's no doubt that Lipa is the latest pop 'It' girl destined for greatness.
