"A feelgood show about our demise."
A very clever sketch show from Ruby Gaytime celebrating life and death; mostly death.
From funeral parties (literal parties), various religious customs and traditions, the afterlife, humanity in the technological age — nothing is treated as taboo. And all of it is hilarious, with the three actors missing not one beat — every line eliciting silent giggles or hearty chuckles. The sketches (plus callbacks) explore death in many of its facets; we learn a thing or two, and aside from the comedy there are a few truly heartfelt moments to keep the topic real and grounded. A feelgood show about our demise.
